With huge growth over the past number of years, along with an exciting new motor campus on the horizon, we’re on the lookout for Vehicle Progressor to join our Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz team in Kildare Town.

As a Fitzpatrick's Vehicle Progressor, you will arrange and oversee the preparation of all new and pre-owned stock.

As a new member of the sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of all vehicles meet our high standards before being displayed on our digital and physical forecourts.

Role and responsibilities to include:

  • Take ownership of the preparation of all new and pre-owned stock.

  • Carry out a full appraisal on all vehicles as soon as they are in stock.

  • Photograph and create video content of our latest pre-owned stock.

  • Create detailed used car adverts for our own website and 3rd parties like Carzone, Cars Ireland and DoneDeal.

  • Monitor any outstanding issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Liaise with numerous internal departments on a daily basis – Sales, Service, Parts, Bodyshop, Valet and Management.

  • Ensure our vehicles are ready for handovers and delivery.

  • Control and monitor our showroom and display areas in collaboration with the Sales Team.

  • Ensure all vehicles are displayed on the premises to the highest standards at all times.

  • Inspect vehicles before handover to ensure they meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Update and control stock management on a daily basis. 

  • Any other ad-hoc duties - delivery and collection of vehicles, NCTs, etc.

What we’re looking for:

  • You don't need to be from the motor industry; however you will have a proven record of attention to detail, highly organised, with an ability to work as part of a busy team. Previous motor trade experience is desirable as is an interest in cars and the motor industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Be highly motivated with a strong customer focus.

  • A well-presented individual with a desire, character and attitude to succeed.

  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.

  • Strong IT and administrative skills.

  • Possess excellent planning, organisational and co-ordination skills.

  • Flexible in your approach to work.

  • Full clean driver’s license.
